Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated full-time PHP Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building client websites and managing our portfolio of websites. Your primary focus will be on front-end development, including the creation of custom WordPress websites and plugin customization. You should have a strong understanding of WordPress theme development, including the use of child themes and frameworks. Proficiency in PHP and knowledge of frameworks like Laravel, and Codeigniter is essential.

- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, Laravel, WordPress and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with the front-end team to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and other developers, to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback to improve code quality.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in web development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a strong focus on Laravel development.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for front-end development.
- Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
- Strong database skills, including SQL and database design.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., Vue.js or React) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
